Between June 23 and Aug 22 you'll find a combination of boat and bus to get to the glacier. Boat from Flåm to Sogndal, then the Glacier Bus
from Sogndal to Nigardsbreen. In the
afternoon bus from Nigardsbreen via Sogndal,
Fodnes, Lærdal, Aurland.

Before June 18 and after Aug 20 there is another option available.
You can go by bus from Flåm and connect to the GlacierBus in Sogndal.
This is how it works: Take the 06.55 bus from Flåm, ask for a ticket to Sogndal. Remember to change bus at Håbakken station (right after the long tunnel). The bus then stops at the Fodnes ferry, you take the ferry across, and a bus is waiting on the other side, taking you to Sogndal, where the GlacierBus is ready at 08.45. It may seem complicated, but is quite simple. See route map
